Every now and then a story presents itself that warms even the weariest of marketer’s hearts, and proves that individuals can still achieve change with the power of the internet.
HJ’s Burger Club [disclaimer: Resonate helps manage this site for Hungry Jack’s] is an online community which allows its customers to leave their menu ideas, their compliments and gripes, and keep them updated of all the happenings at their favourite burger company. Requests often come through for a Hungry Jack’s store to be opened up in the customer’s area, as they have to travel too far to get their favourite fast food –
But one request , from HJs4Kingaroy, stood out among the rest –
A quick look at the passionate Facebook group revealed over 1500+ members from Kingaroy pleading for a Hungry Jack’s store to be opened.
Shortly after a link to a local newspaper article was posted on the Burger Club site –
The Facebook group is a very passionate one, and their idea on HJ’s Burger Club has received over 57 votes and numerous comments.
On the 3rd of March 2010, the group’s founder Nikki received an email from the man himself Jack Cowin, who established the first Hungry Jack’s in 1971. He
